Breaking news: Man Utd 'choose Cristiano Ronaldo replacement' and line up £84m bid after Haaland blow
According to rumours in Italy, Manchester
United interim manager Ralf Rangnick
wants to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The 23-year
-old has been identified as a player of interest
by United, who are set to join the market
for a new goalscorer in the summer
transfer window.
A cloud of uncertainty hangs over United's
players as the club prepares to embark on
a new chapter under the leadership of the next
- as yet unnamed - permanent manager.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford
are struggling, while Edinson Cavani,
Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, and Mason
Greenwood all have uncertain futures at
Old Trafford.
Ronaldo's contract runs until 2023, but
Rangnick is growing impatient with the
37-year-old, who has only scored once
in his previous ten outings.
