Breaking news: after today’s meeting , Ralf Ragnick and the management team are set to sign Barcelona best defender as they are set to United captains Harry Maguire .

 Ronald Arajo debuted for Barcelona in 2019

 and has been a regular for the club since last

 season, with his current contract expiring in 2023. 

Other teams have expressed interest in 

the centre-back as a result of his performances 

and contract issue, one of which is Manchester

 United. 



Sport stated on February 9th that the 22-

year-old is a "wanted player" for the Red 

Devils. Mundo Deportivo reported later that

 month that the Premier League club is 'passionate

 about signing him.'

  Manchester United Interim boss  Ralf Rangnick has revealed he has  dropped Harry Maguire due to 'tactical  demands'. The United captain has been dropped  to the bench for the visit of Watford,  with Aaron Wan-Bissaka taking his  place and Victor Lindelof reverted  back to the centre back role. On his decision to drop Maguire,  Rangnick explained: 'We came back  in the middle of the night after the  Champions League game.
