 According to ESPN, Real Madrid manager

 Carlo Ancelotti has surfaced as a surprising

 possibility to become Manchester United's

 permanent manager this summer. 



The Red Devils have had a poor Premier 

League season and are currently fighting

 for a place in the top four. 


Regardless of where they finish, the leadership

 is expected to look for a new head coach

 after interim manager Ralf Rangnick 

steps down in May. 


Mauricio Pochettino of Paris Saint-Germain

 has been widely tipped as the Red Devils

' top target, but ESPN claims that they 

may miss out on the Argentine's services. 


Pochettino has been linked with a move to 

Real Madrid, with Ancelotti expected to 

leave after only one season.
