 Kylian Mbappe has hinted that he may 

sign a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain 

in order to surpass Edinson Cavani as the 

club's all-time greatest scorer. 



The 23-year-old Frenchman scored twice

 against St-Etienne on Saturday, bringing 

his total to 156 goals for PSG, equaling 

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's total for the French giants. 


Only Cavani has scored more goals for the

 club, with 200 goals in seven trophy-laden

 seasons at the Parc des Princes from 2013 to 2020. 



Mbappe is closing the gap on the Uruguayan

 veteran, who currently plays for Manchester

 United, at a breakneck pace, with 19 goals

 in 31 appearances this season. 


Many, though, doubt that he will be successful.
