Breaking news: Man Utd prepared to agree £240,000 a week deal to sign £21million star – Report

 Manuel Akanji has been linked with a 

move to Manchester United's central defense

 for some time.



Last month, Bild reported that Borussia 

Dortmund had offered the Swiss international

 an eight-million-euro per-season deal. 

He currently earns around five million 

euros per season and is valued at around

 £21 million. 


BvB's contract offer was rejected by the 

26-year-old star, who wants 10 million euros 

a season, according to a reputable German 

news source, and the Bundesliga club is still

 seeking to lock him down to a long-

term contract. 


Ralf Rangnick, the manager of Old 

Trafford, is said to be interested on attracting

 the former FC Basel defender and is 

willing to offer him more than his asking.
