Breaking news: Manchester United and Chelsea keen on Leeds United target Sergio Gomez

 Manchester United and Chelsea are 

allegedly interested in signing Sergio 

Gomez of Leeds United.



Man United have already scouted Anderlecht's

 left-back, according to Gazetta Dello Sport,

 ahead of a possible summer transfer. 


The Whites were also interested in 

the 21-year-old, according to TEAMtalk, 

since they were looking for a replacement 

for Junior Firpo. 


Inter Milan has joined the fight to sign 

the Spaniard, in addition to his Premier 

League rivals. 


If Ivan Perisic leaves this summer, they 

consider him as a possible replacement.


Given the number of clubs interested in 

him, Leeds may have discovered the 

correct player, but signing him will

 be challenging. 


They can't afford to pay as much 

as their Premier League counterparts.

 According to Gazzetta dello Sport ( Monday's edition, page 19), Manchester  United are interested in signing Napoli  attacker Victor Osimhen this summer.  Last season, the Nigerian joined the Serie  A club from Lille for a club-record £58. 5 million cost, but he struggled to make  an impact, scoring just 10 goals in all  competitions.  He was limited by a shoulder ailment . With a cheekbone fracture this season,  he's had a similar situation, but his form has  been significantly better, with 15 goals  in only 25 games.  The 23-year-old has lately reached his peak  form, scoring back-to-back braces, and  he is reportedly attracting a lot of Premier  League transfer interest.  Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle  United have all been connected with the  player, but United is also keeping an eye on him.
