Breaking news: Manchester United dealt transfer blow as midfielder signs new deal

 Brozovic's contract was about to expire

has signed to a new deal with Inter Milan

official English account. 




Manchester United was reportedly 

interested in signing the midfielder last 

year, but a deal never materialized, 

according to Interlive. Manchester 

United would have been interested in 

bringing the Croatian to the Premier 

League on a free transfer if he hadn't

 signed a new contract. 


"I've never held negotiations with 

any other teams out of respect for Inter

 and their fans," Brozovic stated in a statement

 on the official Inter Milan website. 

I'd like to express my gratitude to 

the club, and I'll say it again: I'm 

overjoyed for today." 


Brozovic also mentions how he was

 "desperate" to sign the contract.
