 Manchester United need the summer

and they need it quickly. With no trophies

left to win the last couple of months of

the season have the potential to play out

like a dreary procession.

Qualifying for next season's Champions

League is the only thing United have

left to play for but even that is looking like

a struggle. Arsenal currently hold fourth

spot, have a four-point lead on Ralf

Rangnick's side and still have a game in hand.

Tottenham have even overtaken United,

who are now down to sixth, too, by a

point after catching up on all their fixtures

. Considering the form all three sides

are showing, each of the north London

clubs look more likely to round out

the top four.

It's been yet another season of bitter

disappointment for United and, once again

, a big summer is needed to fix the problems

. It looks likely to be an off-season of

big change with several players set to depart.

First off, Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani,

Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Lee Grant

are all almost certain to leave when their

contracts expire at the end of the season

unless there is any late change of hearts.

Then there are several more players,

such as Anthony Martial, Dean Henderson

, Donny van de Beek, Phil Jones and

maybe even Marcus Rashford who

all may look to call time on their United

 careers.

That's potentially 10 players leaving before

it's even considered that United may

want to shift on some players of their own

accord, who have been struggling to

hit the levels required to play for a

club looking to compete for trophies

again. There could be a huge amount

of players leaving Old Trafford in the

summer as the club look to freshen up

their squad and hopefully rebuild. However

, it all does depend on the next permanent

 manager, too.

Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag

are the current front runners as United

hope to get their new boss in place before

the end of the season but that is made

difficult by the fact that both are currently

 in high-profile jobs. Paris Saint-

Germain and Ajax, respectively.

In lieu of a manager to make the decisions

, MEN Sport has asked United supporters

to give their verdict on which players

United should keep and which they

should let go in the upcoming transfer

 window.
