 he wants to quit Man United this summer

A source with knowledge of Rashford’s 

situation has told Football Insider that 

the player has let it be know to those 

close to him that he is ready to sever 

his ties with his boyhood club to 

reignite his career.

It is believed he has spoken to his inner 

circle about his lack of playing time and

 how a new challenge could be 

the best option.

United fans would rail against the possibility 

of losing a hometown hero who has 

graduated from their academy to 

make nearly 300 first-team appearances.

Rashford is also a household name 

for his off-the-pitch work campaigning

 for free school dinners.

That has led to suggestions in some

 quarters that the forward’s focus 

has not entirely been on football 

over the last two seasons.

Rashford has disputed that argument

 and used his social media accounts 

to defend his recent performances.
