the Premier League on Sunday, dealing 

another blow to their top-four hopes. 


Arsenal's 3-2 victory over Watford away 

from home pushed the Red Devils to fifth

 in the standings heading of the match. 


The Manchester derby became much 

more important as a result, but the Red

 Devils were simply not good enough 

to beat the Cityzens. 


Kevin De Bruyne scored the game's first 

goal in the fifth minute, thanks to a defensive

 breakdown. Before Jadon Sancho stunned

 the home crowd in the 22nd minute, Cityzens

 seemed good value to increase their lead. 


Since the winter break, the Manchester

 City graduate has been one of United's 

shining spots. He maintained his excellent

 form.
