Breaking news: Ralf Rangnick highlights major Manchester United weakness after Atletico Madrid defeat

 In their recent Champions League defeat

 to Atletico Madrid, Ralf Rangnick believes

 Manchester United lacked physicality. 

With a 1-0 second-leg loss in the round-

of-16, United was eliminated 2-1 on aggregate

, ending their fifth season without a trophy. 

During his post-match press conference, 

Rangnick made no attempt to hide his 

disdain for Atletico's obstinate style, praising

 Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic for making

 it 'easier' for Atletico to waste time. After

 going down 1-0 to Renan Lodi's 41st 

minute goal, the interim manager thought 

United were at a disadvantage in breaking

 down Atletico's 'wall.' 

Rangnick responded, "I don't know what 

you mean by naive," when it was stated 

United were "naive." When you're up against

 a side like Atletico Madrid, the reigning 

champions of that style of play, you have

 to be on your game.
