Breaking news:Luis Enrique has already made his thoughts perfectly clear on Man Utd job
Luis Enrique, the manager of Spain,
is one of the outsider possibilities for the
position of permanent Manchester United
manager.
Following Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's departure
from United last November, Spain's coach
emerged as a leading contender to follow
the Norwegian in the long-term role at
Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag, the manager
of Ajax, is thought to be a frontrunner for
the job. Last week, Ten Hag, 52, met
with United executives to discuss becoming
the club's new manager.
Mauricio Pochettino, the coach of Paris
Saint-Germain, is also a candidate. As
reported last month, Pochettino was the early
favorite for the United job, with the
Old Trafford leadership confident
of obtaining their man. Later on, that
discovery was fleshed out.
