 a tough battle with Paris Saint-Germain 

to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej 

Milinkovic-Savic this summer. 



Over the years, the Serbian has been a significant

 player for Lazio in the center of the park

. With eight goals and ten assists in 39 games

, he has had another strong season. 


Despite his achievements, the midfielder 

is weighing his alternatives. He has turned

 down a new contract beyond June 2024, 

which might open the path for his 

exit this summer. 


United have long admired Milinkovic-Savic

, and it has been said that they see him as 

Paul Pogba's succession. They may, however

, face stiff opposition from Paris Saint-Germain.
