Confirmed: Man Utd have new manager announcement timeline despite new option available
Manchester United are allegedly
weeks away from appointing a new manager
as the search for a permanent replacement
for Ralf Rangnick progresses. Mauricio
Pochettino of PSG and Erik ten Hag of
Ajax remain the frontrunners, but there's
mounting suspicion that Real Madrid's
Carlo Ancelotti might be made available soon.
In recent weeks, United has increased
their attempts to complete their managerial
search, holding discussions with a number
of candidates. United officials are said to
have questioned Ten Hag on Monday, but
the Daily Mail reports that he isn't the
only candidate who has met with the club's
new chief executive Richard Arnold.
Pochettino, the former Tottenham manager
, is also understood to have had some
meetings with United's football director
, John Murtough.
