Confirmed: Manchester United are set to give Erik ten Hag a brilliant double act right away MANCHESTER UNITED appointment.

Manchester United are still considering

their possibilities for choosing a permanent

replacement to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when

the season ends. Erik ten Hag, the manager

of Ajax, appears to be in pole position

to take over. While both Julen Lopetegui

and Mauricio Pochettino are respected, it

appears that the 52-year-old will be tasked

with reawakening a sleeping giant this summer.

When Manchester United renewed Solskjaer's

contract last summer, just after their narrow

Europa League final defeat to Villarreal,

they believed they were on the verge

of winning the league.

However, the Norwegian was unable to

get the best out of his star-studded squad

this season, leading to his dismissal less

than 24 hours later.
