Confirmed :Signed and sealed :Manchester United head of development signs former player ,deal completed.

 Toby Collyer has confirmed his Manchester

 United deal on Instagram. 



According to Fabrizio Romano, the 18-

year-old midfielder has signed a three-and-a-

half-year contract after signing from Brighton

 & Hove Albion. 


After failing to reach an agreement with

 Brighton on new terms, the midfielder 

has spent the last few months on trial with

 a number of clubs, including Manchester


 United and Chelsea. 

United would come out on top in the race, 

and Collyer has stated that he is "delighted 

to join this fantastic club, can't wait to get started!" 


Justin Cochrane, United's head of first team development, who joined the club last summer, will have played a crucial role in his acquisition. 

Cochrane and Collyer have known each other since Cochrane was a police officer.
