Manchester United step up interest in this chelsea defender:The perfect signing for Rangnick ?
Manchester United have stepped up their
interest in Chelsea's star defender Antonio
Rudiger, according to The Daily Mail, as
Ralf Rangnick tries to bolster his defensive
options ahead of the 2022/23 season.
To be more specific, the German defender
wants to be paid more – he wants to be
the highest-paid defender in the Premier
League. Rudiger turned down Chelsea's
£140,000-a-week contract offer last
August, and current sources claim he is
demanding around £46 million (around
£220,000-a-week) over the course of a four
-year contract, whether at Stamford
Bridge or elsewhere.
Real Madrid has dropped out of the fight
for his signature due to the high demands,
but Rangnick appears keen to take advantage
of the situation by leveraging his 'excellent
relationship' with the star's agent, Sehr.
