Revealed : What Ronaldo told his coach that made Ralf Ragnick drop him from the squad as he reveals who Manchester captain will be after derby .

 According to rumours, Ralf Rangnick

has dropped him from Manchester United's

starting XI for the match against Manchester City.

The renowned striker, 37, was noticeably absent

from the squad for Sunday's derby, and

was not in attendance at the Etihad as

United were hammered 4-1 by their local rivals.

Ronaldo had only missed two Premier

League games this season since his summer

signing from Juventus.

Rangnick justified Ronaldo's absence by

saying he experienced a recurrence of the

hip problem that kept him out of the game

against Aston Villa in January.

"Cristiano had some hip flexor issues on

Friday, and he hasn't trained since," the

Red Devils interim manager said before

 of kickoff.
