Done deal :Manchester United seal £50million deal with OT star

for Manchester United and their fans is 

the signing of talented playmaker Bruno

 Fernandes to a new contract. 



According to rumours, the Red Devils and 

the Portuguese international have agreed 

to a £50 million contract. 


According to The Athletic, the Old Trafford 

club has agreed to a new four-year contract

 with the former Sporting CP star, which 

would pay him £240,000 per week 

(£50 million till 2026). 


Fernandes has won the Matt Busby Player

 of the Year award twice in the last two 

years, although he has yet to win a club 

trophy with Manchester United. 


In his career, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder

 has consistently scored and created goals, 

with 26 league goals so far this season.

 Manchester United have named Scott  McTominay and Bruno Fernandes in their  squad for the second leg of their  Champions League last-16 clash against  Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night. After  a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Madrid last  month, Ralf Rangnick's squad returns  to Europe with the score tied 1-1 on aggregate.  United could have an almost fully fit  squad to pick from for the vital second leg  at Old Trafford, with Fernandes set to play  despite missing Saturday's 3-2 win over  Tottenham due to a positive Covid-19 test.  Fernandes was spotted at United's Carrington  training center earlier this week, according  to the Manchester Evening News. Luke  Shaw, who missed Tottenham's triumph , was also absent.   Manchester United youngster Anthony  Elanga is happy to be sharing the dressing  room with a footballing legend like  Cristiano Ronaldo. The 19-year-old winger said that having  an experienced player around is beneficial  both on and off the field. Elanga has also  lauded Ronaldo for his personality off the  pitch.
