Confirmed: Man Utd offer key role to sign priority £66million midfielder.

 signing, will be out of contract in three months

 and could depart on a free transfer. 

The Red Devils need to replace the French

 international with a quality player, and 

Frenkie de Jong is the front-runner. 

The Dutch international is a major goal 

for Man United, according to Spanish 

outlet Nacional, and the club has offered 

him a key position to replace Pogba. 

Xavi would prefer to keep the Netherlands 

international, but he doesn't mind if he is 

sold because there are plenty of good options

 in the park's center. 

Barcelona is said to be considering selling

 the 24-year-old midfielder if they receive 

an offer of approximately 80 million euros.
