 for Covid-19, and Henderson, who turns 

25 today, is poised to be called in. 


There have been accusations that Atletico

 Madrid's La Liga victory over Cadiz on 

Friday night influenced United's abrupt 

change of plans. Atletico Madrid won 

2-1 in the first leg of their Champions 

League round-of-16 tie against Manchester

 United on Tuesday. 


Henderson has not played in the Premier 

League since the final day of last season 

at Wolves and has made three appearances 

this season against West Ham in the League

 Cup, Young Boys in the Champions League

 group stage and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
